How to make nursery mobile, Rain drops mobile, an easy tutorial

You can do it. You can make it even if you are a beginner. Sewing together colorful pieces of felt is easier then you think. You can make a rain drops nursery mobile in the couple of hours.

Materials you need: assorted colorful felt - white, blue, purple, aqua, needle and white thread, a pair of scissors, anti bacterial poly filling, assorted cords / wax thread.
Each row has 5 drops that stay on a cord. Each cord has a loop at the high top for hanging.

You can hanging it on the ceiling or on the wall, on a baby crib, or on a door, in the trees in your garden, at the entrance.

Mickey Mouse Name Banner

Hello Mickey. Hello Mouse. Mickey ... Mice banner for a boy.

His name is Preston. I don't know the boy, but I think it's a baby boy. His mother wanted 2 mice for his banner.

I made colorful letters for the name.

I made it from soft and colorful felt, to be bright and cheerful in your boy's room. The letters and the mice have 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in height and the whole banner is almost 30 inches in length (means 75 cm).

I attached heart shaped beads on each letter.

You can use the banner in your kids room or at their birthday parties.

The mice hide the place where you hang on the banner on the wall.

Train Felt Board

Kids love chu-chu trains. I love them too. It's funny. Just imagine to ride by this colorful chu-chu train.

I made it from soft and colorful felt; for each part I used a different color. In this way, you can teach your kids the colors and shapes. I think a train like this can be a perfect puzzle.

And ... I added 5 little monkeys because a client asked me to do that. So, here they are: 5 colorful monkeys with Velcro on the back. Remove them, put again, remove and so on.

Play:
-I spy with my little eye ....
-Count the monkeys
-Recognize the colors and shapes
-Sing a song
-Invent a silly song
-Create a story

Or use it as nursery decor or classroom decoration. I think it's great for all kind of kids: preschool, kindergarten, 1 or 2nd grade, for teaching a foreign language etc.

Watch my video: my daughter is playing with this felt board.

Enjoy your ride.

You know the song Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed? It's a very known song for children. Inspired by this funny song, I made a felt board with monkeys: 5 kids, a mom (with a flower in her hair) and a doctor.

Instead of bed, I sew a branch and some leaves. It is made from soft and colorful felt and the monkeys have polyester inside and Velcro on the back.

I attached the printed lyrics. But what can you do with this felt funny board? Ooooo, so many activities !
