Teddy Bear Pattern, Sew by Hand a Bear

I know the struggle for finding an easy pattern to make a toy. Many years ago I had the same issue: every pattern that I found requires to use a sewing machine or it was a complicate pattern to follow. I made this pattern for sewing a bear for my daughter. She loves teddies. She is 12 years old now, but she still have bears. And I made this bear not just for her, but for her friends too and she gave the teddies as Christmas presents. No matter how big you are, if you are a child or an adult, a Teddy Bear will make you smile.

How to sew a Teddy Bear 

Easy peasy! If you are a beginner in sewing, this pattern is for you. It is an easy sewing tutoarial, with pictures and explanation. Just print the pattern, cut all the pieces, then sew by hand all together. I used fleece because it is easy to sew, it is soft and cuddly, but you can use the fabric you want. If you enlarge the pattern, you can make a big pillow.

Crochet Teddy Bear, a lovely gift for someone

I made these Teddy Bears after a pattern by Lilleliis. They are adorable. It is an easy to follow pattern. I added some fabric on their belly and on the ears.

They can be a lovely gift for any occasion, for children or for adults too. A birthday gift, a Get Well Soon gift, a graduation gift. They have 22 cm and they are filled with anti bacterial toy filling.

Polar bear - a custom toy

According to this girl's drawing, this is a polar bear. How can I made it a toy, I asked myself. It was not so easy. The drawing has a lots of details and I had to sew it piece by piece, by hand. But the result ...

I used colorful and soft felt. It is filled with anti bacterial polyester.

Some of the details are embroidered. Other are small felt pieces sew together.

I think it will be a nice present. A custom toy has something special, it is unique. Probably sometimes it is a strange toy, because kids' drawings are so creative! But more than that, it is a special toy and definitely  it brings joy.

Crochet kitty, crochet toys from scratches, recycling ideas

I have some unused yarn. Not a lot, but some colors that I can't fit anywhere and some thread that I can not use for a big project. So, let's make them toys.

I love to sew, but I love to crochet too. And sometimes I need a switch from sewing.

I used the simply patterns from Lilleliis. The toys are adorable and I made them in a couple of hours. 

The Teddy Bear is made of some sparkling yarn.

I want to try to make them according to the pattern, using the same type of yarn that they recommend. But later. Now I want to give a chance to this unused yard.

Next project is a frog. And with pink... I will make a cute pig.

Crochet Bear Bag

My 8 years daughter loves Teddy Bears. I made this bag thinking at her love for the bears. It's an easy project. You can buy it in My Ravelry Store or in My Craftsy Store. Use what kind of yarn you want and attach a contrasting flower. Don't sew the bag between the ears, leave a space so your girl can put some stuff inside.

Because the first one was a gift for a little girl, I had to make another one for my daughter and I used light brown yarn for the bear and I attached a pink bow.
