Ladybug Crochet Bag - a pattern

Do you love ladybugs? I do. And my daughter too. I made this crochet bag for her. And now she is sooooo proud! First day when she wore it, she took the bag empty. Just to show it and just for fun.

You can buy the pattern in My Ravelry Store

I used Red Heart Bella and I put the thread in two because I wanted a thick and compact bag. The hook is no 3.5 mm (E).

If you have any question, please leave a comment.

Happy crocheting.

Spring Bag - sewing tutorial

I like to decorate little things. This is an easy project for decorate a bag. Today I put some red flowers on a book bag. And 3 clouds. And sun. Because it's spring time. I used colorful felt and a bag that bought from hobby store.

Here is the bag. The size is 14.56 x 14.56 inches (37 x37 cm).You can make a bag like this as a present for your mom or grandma, a present for a teacher or for a book lover. And if you sew a little ballerina on the front, it can be a ballerina bag. But this is another ... ballerina story, maybe for another tutorial.

First, I cut some shapes: circles for flowers and sun, green stripes for stems, blue cloud shapes, green leaves shapes. I cut the shapes without a pattern, but if you are not so sure, you can download and use my pattern from here: Ema's Decorations Pattern. If you want to add some curly lines to your flowers, first cut the circle and then play with your scissor around to obtain a curly line.

Use some pins to fix all pieces on your bag and then sew them. It's easy. You can finish in an hour.

I made 5 poppy flowers, but you can make more or less, depending your imagination. You can also use different colors and other shapes.

Happy sewing.

Strawberry set - for a little girl

I made a Strawberry bag from felt for my daughter. She likes very much the cartoons with Strawberry Shortcake. So I made these little things for her: a strawberry bag, a bracelet, a hair clip  and a money purse.
